Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup of rice,
- 1 cup of water
- 1 litre of milk
- 1⁄4 cup of sugar
- cinnamon slices to taste
- 1 teaspoon, vanilla
- White rum (optional)
Preparation
- Soak the rice in the water for 30 minutes. Then blend for a minute and a half and strain.
- In a pot, pour the milk, add the sugar and cinnamon, put on a moderate heat and do not let it boil until it reduces by half, add the rice and vanilla and continue stirring until it reaches the desired thickness.
- Pour immediately into a suitable container, cool and refrigerate if preferred. Serve decorating as desired.
- The process takes between 45 and 50 minutes.
